Description
Nativo is a broad-spectrum fungicide that can be used to protect crops from diseases, improve crop yield and quality, and control fungal infections. It comes in a water-dispersible granule form and contains the active ingredients tebuconazole and trifloxystrobin. In rice, it has been shown to reduce the incidence of dirty panicles in later stages of growth and improve overall yield quality.
CROPS – Chilli, apple, corn, orange, moong bean, Ground nut, string bean, cacao, rubber, soybean, coffee, chrysanthemum, mango, melon, cucumber, rice, shallot, palm seedling, banana, watermelon, tea, tobacco, and tomato, Orchids.
INSECTS/ DISEASES – Sheath blight, Leaf blast & Neck blast, Glume discolouration (dirty panicle), Early blight, Powdery mildew, anthracnose, Yellow rust.
The active ingredients in Nativo, tebuconazole and trifloxystrobin, work in different ways to control fungal infections in crops. Tebuconazole is a demethylase inhibitor that disrupts the structure of the fungal cell wall, preventing the fungus from reproducing and growing. Trifloxystrobin interferes with the respiration process in plant pathogenic fungi. According to the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC), tebuconazole is classified as group 3 and trifloxystrobin is classified as group 1. This classification system is used to help identify the potential for the development of resistance to fungicides.
