Coragen insecticide is a pesticide product used to control Lepidopteran insect pests in a variety of crops, including tomato, brinjal (eggplant), chili, sugarcane, rice, soybean, and pulses. It contains the active ingredient chlorantraniliprole, which is an anthranilic diamide insecticide with a unique mode of action that controls pests resistant to other insecticides. Coragen is particularly effective as a larvicide, providing long-term protection from pests and enabling crops to achieve maximum yield potential. It is a green label product and is suitable for use in integrated pest management programs. Coragen is applied as a suspension concentrate at a dosage of 0.4 ml per liter of water (60 ml per acre). It is effective against a range of insects, including Helicoverpa, Spodoptera, fall armyworm, cutworm, pod borers, DBM, and stem borers.
