SUMI MAX HERBICIDE
Technical Content: Flumioxazin 50% SC
Dosage:
40ml in 80 – 100 litres of water after 48 hours of seed sowing.
Description
SUMI-MAX herbicide is a product that contains the active ingredient flumioxazin, which is a systemic herbicide that can be applied to foliage or roots and then absorbed by the target plant. It works by inhibiting an enzyme called protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO), which is important for the synthesis of chlorophyll, thus hindering the plant’s production of chlorophyll and causing the treated plant to quickly decompose.
Flumioxazin can be used as both a pre-emergent and post-emergent form of control for weeds and crops on land and in aquatic sites, it can control a broad spectrum of invasive and problematic aquatic plants like Eurasian watermilfoil, curly leaf pondweed and may also affect desirable native species like coontail, duckweeds, filamentous algae.
The recommended dosage is 40ml in 80 – 100 litres of water, after 48 hours of seed sowing.
