Calaris Xtra is a pre-mix herbicide made by Syngenta. It is designed to control grass and broad leaf weeds in corn and sugarcane crops. It is India’s first pre-mix herbicide and is inspired by nature to deliver better and long-duration control of weeds.

The herbicide has a unique combination and a dual mode of action that results in fast control of weeds. It is recommended to apply Calaris Xtra at the 3-4 leaf stage of weeds. The recommended dosage is 1400 ml per acre, to be applied with a knapsack sprayer using Flood jet or Flat Fan nozzles with 200L of water per acre.

Calaris Xtra is a contact herbicide, it acts by penetrating the leaf surface, and the active ingredient move to the meristematic regions of the plant where growth occurs and inhibit the growth of weeds.
