Description
Rimon Insecticide is an insect growth regulator that is used to control a variety of insect pests in crops. It contains the active ingredient novaluron, which belongs to the benzoylurea class of insecticides. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of chitin, a key component of the insect exoskeleton, during the larval stages of development. This leads to the death of the insect. Rimon Insecticide is effective against a wide range of insect pests, including Spodoptera and Heliothis, and is suitable for use in integrated pest management (IPM) and integrated resistance management (IRM) programs. It is applied as a foliar spray and is most effective when applied at the primordial stage of crop development. It should not be applied more than twice in a season.

Mode Of Application: Rimon on Cabbage & Cauliflower should be sprayed 20 – 22 days after transplanting (primordial stage) to ensure proper control at critical stage of crop. Second spray of Rimon should be done alternated with other groups of insecticides. On tomato & cotton, it is recommended at fruit setting & square formation respectively to ensure good amount of fruits & bolls. Do not undertake more than two sprays in a season.
