Description

Syngenta Cigna is an insecticide that contains Lufenuron as the active ingredient. It is effective against several insects and pests such as the Diamond Backed moth, Pod fly of Redgram, fruit borers in chilli, Pod borers, and American bollworm in cotton.

It is recommended for use on crops such as cotton, chilli, cole crops, red gram, and vegetables. The recommended dosage of Syngenta Cigna is 1.5 to 2 ml per liter of water.

Lufenuron works as an insect growth regulator by inhibiting the synthesis of chitin, which is an essential component of the insect exoskeleton. This causes the insect to become unable to molt, leading to its death. Syngenta Cigna provides long-lasting protection against insect pests and is an effective tool for integrated pest management in agriculture.
