Description

Boon Fungicide is a systemic fungicide that is used to control powdery mildew and other diseases in crops such as chili, apple, and grapes. It contains the active ingredient myclobutanil, which belongs to the triazole class of fungicides. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane, which leads to the death of the fungus. Boon Fungicide has both preventive and curative properties and is effective even if applied up to 96 hours or 4 days after the infection process has started. It is highly systemic and is quickly absorbed by the plant, providing long-lasting protection against fungal diseases. It is compatible with most commonly used pesticides but it is recommended to conduct a physical compatibility test before using it in combination with other products. No phytotoxicity (toxicity to plants) has been observed when used as recommended. The recommended dosage for foliar sprays is 4 gm per 10 liters of water.
